Stay With Us

Hornbill Safari Camp offers two ways to stay: five comfortable chalets for couples, families and friends, or a scenic campsite for those who prefer to camp. Set beneath towering shade trees, with lawns dotted by desert roses and young acacias, the camp is alive with birdsong from dawn to dusk. Whether you’re relaxing outside your chalet, enjoying time by the river or gathered around the fire, this is a safe, comfortable pause on the long Kafue road.

Our Accommodation

We have five private chalets, set amongst old-growth trees and abundant birdlife. Four have an extra-king bed, ideal for couples, while our larger Twin Chalet has two three-quarter beds and space for camp cots if travelling with young children.

For those who prefer to camp, our campsite accommodates up to 12 guests. With shared bathrooms, a thatched lapa and braai area, it offers a simple but well-kept base for enjoying the bush at your own pace.

The lodge kitchen, dining area, lounge and chalet fire pit are reserved for chalet guests, while campers have their own dedicated facilities.
