Hornbill Safari Camp offers two ways to stay: private chalets for couples or a scenic campsite for adventurers. Set beneath towering shade trees with lawns dotted by desert roses and young acacias, the camp is alive with birdsong from dawn to dusk. Whether you’re relaxing outside your chalet or gathered round the fire, this is a safe, comfortable pause on the long Kafue road.

Our Accommodation

We have four private chalets; each designed for couples with an extra-king bed and fresh bedding. Surrounded by old-growth trees and birdlife, they’re quiet retreats where you can truly switch off. For those who prefer canvas, our campsite accommodates up to 12 guests. With shared bathrooms, a thatched lapa, and a braai area, it offers a simple but well-kept base for living closer to nature. Please note: the lodge kitchen, dining area, lounge, and chalet fire pit are reserved for chalet guests. Campers enjoy their own dedicated facilities to make the stay both comfortable and convenient.
